It depends on what's making the noise now. The SDO-5 Ultra has a DC motor, a steel-reinforced belt instead of a metal chain, and soft start and soft stop, so it's much quieter than a typical older chain-drive opener.

That's common. Dry rollers, worn hinges and loose fittings make plenty of noise on their own. That’s why every install includes a full door service: we lubricate the hinges, rollers and tracks, tighten the fixings and check the balance, so the whole door runs quietly, not just the motor.

Yes. Labour is included anywhere in the Perth metro area, and we do not charge a call-out fee. A standard replacement takes around 90 minutes, including the door service and testing, and we do it in one visit.

The SDO-5 suits sectional and tilt doors, and at 1200N it is the strong version of the range — it handles insulated and oversized doors that smaller openers struggle with. It mounts straight to the ceiling, so low headroom is usually not a problem. Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you book.

Because a new opener does not fix a tired door. If the springs are out of balance or the rollers are dry, the motor works against the door and wears out early. Servicing the door at the same time is how you get the full life out of the opener, so we include it rather than sell it separately.

The opener itself is covered by Superlift for 7 years. Our own workmanship is covered for 12 months — if something we installed is not right, we come back at no cost. None of this limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Yes. Every opener has a manual release handle that disconnects the door from the motor so you can lift it by hand. If you would rather it keep working on its own during an outage, ask us about the battery backup — it is an optional extra, not part of the $850 price.

On the day, once the job is done and you are happy with it — card, bank transfer or cash. You get an itemised invoice with our ABN by email. We do not charge card surcharges.

Yes. The app connects through your home Wi-Fi, so the signal needs to reach the garage. If it's weak there, a Wi-Fi extender usually sorts it out. Your remotes and wall control work without Wi-Fi either way.
